Farrell Learning and Teaching Center Rm. 212

This Wednesday join us for our last meeting of the semester.  If you have enjoyed the programming this year and would like to see more of ABBGS next year, definitely come and let us know how we can better serve YOU. This is also your chance to get more involved if you like; importantly we will hold officer elections for 2007-2008. *(officer descriptions attached)

If for nothing else come join us for CAKE as we celebrate the success of our inaugural year and the successful defense and upcoming graduation of our historian Elizabeth Sitati-Farnsworth. Liz will be moving on to a promising Postdoctoral position at the National Institute of Health this coming summer (we will miss you Liz!!). If you know other graduates please feel free to bring them as well.

To maintain the life and vibrancy of ABBGS we need all those interested to take an active role, we’re here to learn how to be independent researchers but also to be leaders in our fields in and out the lab.

Also a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Ethiopian Medical Text Book Drive, led by Damien Fair (neuroscience PhD student) and Rahel Nardos (BJH resident). We collected over 400 quality books and ~$3,000 that will benefit the medical students of Addis Ababa University School of Medicine, Ethiopia
